About the Workplace

The Child and Youth Unit is responsible for authority exercises and interventions aimed at children aged 0-20 and their families. The unit is divided into seven groups: reception group, investigation group for children aged 0-12, investigation group for youth aged 13-20, placement group, open care, network and field group, and family law, which is shared with Ekerö and Sundbyberg.

The investigation group for children aged 0-12 is now looking for a new colleague. The employees in the investigation group are competent, creative, and pleasant, with many social workers having years of experience in investigative work, and several also have other experience in social work. We enjoy working together and have a lot of fun while being driven to develop our work.

The investigation group for children consists of 16 social workers and is divided into two smaller groups, each with its own section manager, and you will belong to one of these groups.

We apply annual working hours, allowing you to plan your working hours in consultation with your manager. We offer external supervision and individual salaries, as well as the possibility of vacation exchange. We have a wellness allowance of 3000 SEK per year. The workplace is located on Englundavägen in Solna Business Park.

What Does the Work Involve?

As a social worker, you will investigate children's needs and propose and follow up on interventions. We always work in pairs during the investigation process, and when there are children and teenagers in the same family, we collaborate with the youth group. The work is conducted according to SoL, LVU, and other applicable legislation. The investigation group has access to method supporters who assist new caseworkers during their introduction and all caseworkers in the investigative work. All caseworkers have or will undergo basic training in Signs of Safety, and several have completed advanced training. We strive to work together with our families and their networks, as we believe this is the best way to achieve positive change for the specific child. The investigation group works in teams within their respective groups, where one group receives new cases for a period of eight weeks and vice versa. This creates predictability in the work and allows for a recovery period when new cases do not need to be taken on.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work who is interested in developing social work, particularly child welfare investigations. Experience in social work and working with the target group is an advantage. Experience in investigative work and authority exercise is also a merit. We offer a good exchange of competence in the form of experienced colleagues, accessible management, method support, supervision, and training. We also have a well-developed introduction for new employees. We value stability, structure, and empathetic abilities. Good collaboration skills and a holistic view are also appreciated. Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities.
